Student Literary Arts program is a new RMAC activity focusing on student writing. It will bring student writers and readers together  to share interests and information and provide a unique cultural experience in writing.

Rockaway Writes is the result of a peninsula-wide competition, which invited students to submit their literary works to a panel of judges who would select the best writings in honor of RMAC's first Literary Arts Festival in 2007. This publication features the best of that competition honoring those students whose literary accomplishments were recognized. The book is also a collection of works from other Rockaway writers.
